The VTA is equipped with CNC machined billet components that are built to last, and we also modify the valve operation method for enhanced performance. The factory diverter valve can only function in two positions – either open or closed. When it fully opens at low boost or during a partial throttle lift in a corner, it leads to increased lag and a distinctly non-linear boost transition.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGFB was the first to introduce “pilot operation” in the DV+, which repurposes the factory solenoid to manage the pressure behind the piston instead of the piston itself. This innovation allows for a much shorter solenoid stroke, which accelerates response time and boosts actuation force.
